Mr. Brown advised Council that the house at 2297 Tanager had been leased to persons other than Tri-Cities Ambulance, and that Tri-Cities Ambulance had leased a place in Livermore for six months, therefore, the subject appeal was moot at this point. Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open. No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to the item. Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing closed. Councilmember LeClaire reiterated her concern that there is a need for an ambulance service to be housed in Pleasanton and stated she felt the restricting conditions placed on the home occupation permit application of Tri-Cities Ambu- lance were out of order and inappropriate. Councilmember Brandes stated that Tri-Cities Ambulance had options for other places to locate in Pleasanton and chose not to do so. It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 77-197, denying the appeal by the City Council of the Condi- tions of Approval imposed by the Planning Commission on Z-77-96, application of Tri-Cities Ambulance, Inc., for a home occupation permit to operate an ambulance . service out of a residence located at 2297 Tanager Drive, Pleasanton; zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single Family) District, be adopted.
