315 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 7, 1978 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kenneth Mercer called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order <br />at 7: 00 P .M. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> The roll call is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Kephart, Wood, <br />and Mayor Mercer were present <br /> ' <br /> <br />CONDUCT INTERVIEWS FOR CITY COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> Mayor Mercer stated the purpose of this meeting was to interview the candidates <br />selected on April 4, 1978, for consideration to fill the unexpired term of former <br />Councilmember William J. Herlihy. <br /> <br /> Council interviewed the following persons: <br /> <br /> Ed Alves <br /> Bob Butler <br /> Pat Geary <br /> Alan Grossman <br /> Gilbert Maines <br /> Kent Pryor <br /> Susan Scott <br /> <br /> Council took no action regarding appointment at this meeting, and determined <br />to make a decision at a subsequent meeting. <br /> <br />ADJOURn.lENT <br />There being no further business at 9:30 P.M., Mayor Mercer adjourned the <br />meeting, to meet again on April 11, 1978, 8:00 P.M., Pleasanton Council Chambers. <br /> <br />Resp ec t fully Submit ted, <br /> <br />~0~q, CITY CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
