CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-133 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO GATEWAY <br /> LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION, INC., FOR JOHNSON DRIVE AND <br /> STONERIDGE DRIVE LANDSCAPING, PROJECT NO. NPID-S2-4F <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for <br /> landscaping improvements on Johnson Drive and Stoneridge <br /> Drive, Project No. NPID-82-4F; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., the <br /> City Engineering Services Division advertised for bids <br /> regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on April 5, 1988; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Gateway Landscape Construction, Inc., in the <br /> amount of $128,569.00 was determined to be the lowest <br /> responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br /> that the bid of Gateway Landscape Construction, Inc. be <br /> accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Gateway Landscape Construction, Inc., in <br /> the amount of $128,569.00, for landscape improvements on <br /> Johnson Drive and Stoneridge Drive, Project No. <br /> NPID-82-4F, is hereby accepted by the City Council as <br /> the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to execute a contract <br /> with Gateway Landscape Construction, Inc. for the <br /> improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
