MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> January 17, 1978 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Robert Philcox called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council <br /> to order at 8:00 P.M. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox were present. <br />Mr. Brown, City ~nager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Levine, Deputy City <br />Attorney, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, and Mr. <br />Swift, Planning Analyst, were present. <br /> <br />REVIEW OF RESIDENTIAL ALLOCATION PLAN <br /> Mayor Philcox stated the purpose of this meeting was to continue a review <br />of the point syste:n in connection with the Residential Allocation Program. <br /> <br /> Council discussion ensued regarding Contribution to the Capital Improvement <br />Fund, which had been reviewed by Mr. Swift on January 16, 1978. <br /> <br /> Councilm~nbers expressed concern regarding this matter, and discussed <br />various alternative for increasing Capital Improvement funds. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift reviewed the Provision of Subsidized Housing, and Contribution <br /> to Housing Fund. <br /> <br /> After discussion, Council scheduled a meeting on January 30, 1978, 8:00 P.M., <br />Pleasanton Council Chambers, to present reconnnendations to staff regarding the <br />Residential ~llocation Program. A subsequent meeting was scheduled for February <br />2, 1978, 8:00 P.M., Pleasanton Council Chambers, to discuss the ramifications of <br />the recommendations presented by Council on January 30, 1978. <br /> <br /> Council also determined to change the regular City Council meeting of <br />February 14, 1978, to February 15, 1978, due to the absence of Mayor Philcox <br />and Councilmember LeClaire on February 14. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF LAVW!~,~ OFFICIAL STATDIENT <br /> Mr. Bro~.~ requested this item be continued to the meeting of January 24, <br />1978, for complete report.
