Adoption of Resolution No. 79-154, approving Agreement with Alameda County which <br /> contracts with a private company, Tri-Cities Ambulance, Inc., for Emergency <br /> Ambulance Service, effective July 1, 1979, through June 30, 1982, and authoriz- <br /> ing the appropriate City officials to execute the Agreement. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 79-155, accepting Grant of Easement provided by the <br /> Roman Catholic Bishop of Oakland for a pedestrian-bicycle path on Santa Rita Road, <br /> and instructing that the easement be recorded. <br /> <br /> f. Adoption of Resolution No. 79-156, approving changing the position of Driver/ <br /> Dispatcher from a three-quarter to a full-time position in the Recreation and <br /> Human Resources Department, and adjusting the 1979-80 Recreation and Human Re- <br /> sources Budget accordingly. <br /> <br /> g. Adoption of Resolution No. 79-157, approving Holding Tank Permit and Agreement <br /> for Ralph Amy, et al (Big "0" Tires), at 3680 Washington Street, subject to con- <br /> ditions set forth in Staff Report SR 79:'209 dated August 31~ 1979, and authoriz- <br /> ing the appropriate City officials to execute the Agreement. <br /> <br />h. Adoption of Resolution No. 79-158, accepting Public Improvements, Del Valle <br /> Parkway; Valley Community Church. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Councilmember Kephart abstained from voting on approval of the City Council <br />Minutes for August 28, 1979, due to his absence from that meeting. <br /> <br />.MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Mercer stated that the intersection of Heatherlark and the Hop- <br />yard frontage road was an awkward intersection, and requested staff to investigate <br />this matter to see if it can be improved. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COb~ITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilmembers presented various Committee Reports for the information of the <br />Council. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Mr. Terry Hewitt, 3478 Arroyo Court, addressed the Council regarding storage <br />fees on his motorcycle that was involved in an accident on July 22 and towed away <br />and stored by Pleasanton Police without his consent. He stated the accident occurred <br />close to his home and he assumed the motorcycle would be taken there when he went to <br />the hospital. Instead it was stored and he was being charged storage fees. Mr. <br />Hewitt stated he did not feel this was fair and appealed to Council for their assist- <br />ance in this matter. Mayor Brandes turned the issue over to the City Manager for <br />investigation, review and recommendation. <br /> <br /> Mr. Rudolff, 3974 Rockingham Drive, addressed the Council relative to securing <br />permission to allow parking of his truck and trailer on Old Santa Rita Road, which <br />he has done in the past. Mayor Brandes advised that by City Council action trucks <br />are not allowed to pakr off of the truck route unless on private property. Mayor <br />Brandes suggested Mr. Rudolff contact the City Manager to determine if the property <br />in question was public or private property. <br /> <br /> 2. 9/11/79 <br /> <br /> <br />
