<br />CALL TO ORDER
<br /> Mayor Kenneth Mercer called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to
<br />order at 12:50 P.M., at the Civic Center Conference Room.
<br />
<br />ROLL CALL
<br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows:
<br />Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr.
<br />Walker, City Manager, and Mr. Levine, City Attorney, were present.
<br />
<br />APPROVAL OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH PLEASANTON CITY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION
<br /> Mr. Walker presented the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton
<br />and the Pleasanton City Employees Association, stating that it had been approved by the
<br />membership of the PCEA but had not been approved as to language by their attorney. Mr.
<br />Walker advised he would bring the agreement back to Council if there was any change
<br />made by the attorney for PCEA.

<br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Council-
<br />member Kephart, that Resolution No. 80-337, approving the Memorandum of Understanding
<br />between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton City Employees Association, subject
<br />to approval by their attorney, said agreement to be in effect for the period January
<br />1, 1981 through February 28, 1982, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the
<br />agreement, be adopted.
<br />The roll call vote was as follows:
<br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer
<br />NOES: None
<br />ABSENT: None

<br />APPROVAL OF SALARIES AND FRINGE BENEFITS FORMANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES
<br /> Mr. Walker presented a draft resolution establishing proposed salaries and fringe
<br />benefits for management personnel and confidential employees.
<br />
<br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Council-
<br />member Butler, that Resolution No. 80-338, adopting a compensation plan fixing salaries
<br />and benefits for management and confidential personnel for the City of Pleasanton, not
<br />including the City Manager and City Attorney, for the period October 1, 1980, through
<br />September 30, 1981, and repealing Resolution No. 79-207, and amending the fiscal
<br />budget accordingly, be adopted.
<br />The roll call vote was as follows:
<br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer
<br />NOES: None
<br />ABSENT: None

<br />ADJOURNMENT
<br /> There being no further business at 1:00 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember Wood,
<br />and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in
<br />Regular Session on January 13, 1981, 8:00 P.M., at the Fairgrounds Cafeteria.
