The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None Report on Use of Westwind Building Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Recreation and Human Re- sources dated August 20, 1980, regarding this matter. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Council- member Kephart, that Resolution No. 80-222, approving the request of two Amador High School students to have the Westwind Building moved to Amador campus and used as a student union building but retaining the present uses by the City in the building, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer NOES: Councilmember Wood ABSENT: None Mayor Mercer instructed staff to contact School Administration to see if they still want the building then proceed accordingly. Setting of 1980-81 Tax Rate for General Obligation Bond Debt Service Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Finance dated August 19, 1980, regarding this matter. It was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 80-223, fixing the tax rate for Debt Service on voter approved general obligation bonds during fiscal year 1980-81 as follows: District No. 1 Debt Service $.052 per $100 of Assessed Valuation District No. 2 Debt Service' $.052 per $100 of Assessed Valuation be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None Bus Service to Regional Shopping Center Mr. Walker presented the report of the Assistant to the City Manager dated August 18, 1980, regarding this matter. After discussion, it was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, instructing the City Manager to contact BART to request that the route of BART's basic bus service be modified to service the Regional Shopping Center, and inform BART that the City is not interested in providing a City bus service. 10. 8/26/80
