Director of Planning and Community Development has determined that <br />the proposed project would not have any potential significant adverse effects on <br />the environment and that an environmental impact report need not be prepared. <br />This Initial Study is available for review at the Planning D~Vjsion, 200 Bernal <br />Avenue~ Pleasanton. Comments on this decision m~X be directed to either the <br />Planning staff prior to the above meetin~ date~ or directly. to. the City Council <br />at the above noticed meeting <br />(Continued Open from 4-22-80) <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated April 16, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the continued public hearing open on the application and <br />the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. George Oakes, representing Amador Valley Investors, stated he had complied <br />with the Planning Commission and staff recommendation for larger lots, and he <br />requested approval of this application. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed on the application and the negative declaration.I <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that <br />Resolution No. 80-119, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as <br />outlined in the City's guidelines and that a Negative Declaration is appropriate to <br />fezone from the R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development) District and development plan approval for a 34-1ot, single-family <br />residential subdivision proposed to be built on an approximately 9 acre parcel <br />located on the south side of Fairlands Drive opposite its intersection with Brockton <br />Drive, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br /> 8. 5/13/80 <br /> <br /> <br />
