Pleasanton Housing AUthor~.ty Board-Komandorski Village Representative Council interviewed the following candidates for consideration for the vacancy of Komandorski Village representative on the Pleasanton Housing Authority Board: Marie Caughron Florence Jane Correa Leatrice Annett Bashaw After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Council- member Butler, that Resolution No. 80-114, reappointing Florence Jane Correa as Komandorski Village representative on the Pleasanton Housing Authority Board for a term of two years, said term to expire May 1, 1982, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: ' Co'~ci'fmember'~' Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None Park and Recreation Commission.Vacanc7 Recruitment Process Mayor Mercer presented a letter from Kathleen O'Brien dated April 23, 1980, submitting her resignation as a member on the Park and Recreation Commission. Council accepted the resignation of Commissioner O'Brien, and instructed staff to advertise for this vacancy, the deadline for applications to be May 30, 1980, with interviews scheduled for June 10, 1980. DESIGNATION OF NATIONAL LITTLE LEAGUE FIELD Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Recreation and Human Re- sources dated April 30, 1980, regarding this matter. It was moved ~y Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood., that Resolution No. 80-115, naming the Pleasanton National Little League Senior League Field located in Pleasanton Youth Sports Park as Richard E. Heinzel Field in memory of Richard E. Heinzel, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and .Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None ADJOURNMENT There being no further business at 10:30 P.M., Mayor Mercer adjourned the Special Meeting to meet again in Regular Session on May 13, 1980, 8:00 P.M., at the Fairgrounds Cafeteria.
