<br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG
<br /> Mayor Kenneth Mercer called the Regular Meeting Of the City Council to order at
<br />8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
<br />
<br />ROLL CALL
<br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows:
<br />Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr.
<br />Walker, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, Mr. WarniCk, Director of Public
<br />Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development,
<br />and Mrs. Wagner, Director of Finance, were present.

<br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS
<br /> Mr. Walker requested that an item be added to the agenda.as item 12c - Alterna-
<br />tive Reuse Projects.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion
<br />of this meeting to discuss pending litigation and labor relations.
<br />
<br />BOY SCOUT INVOLVEMENT WEEK
<br /> Mayor Mercer stated that this is Boy Scout Involvement Week in Pleasanton and
<br />that Boy Scouts had visited City Council and City staff this date to become acquainted
<br />with local governmental activities. The Mayor, Councilmembers, and staff introduced
<br />their Boy Scout counterparts as follows:

<br /> Councilmember Butler - Bob De Carli, 14 years old, Life, Troop 998 '
<br /> Councilmember Kephart - Guy Harrison, 16 years old, Star, Troop 911
<br /> Councilmember Mohr - Chris Dotterweich, 15 years old, Star, Troop 901
<br /> Councilmember Wood - Stephen Melander, 14 years old, Life, Troop 916
<br /> City Manager Walker - Eric Smith, 17 years old, Star, Troop 546
<br /> Director of Public Works Warnick - Evan Woehl, 13~ years old, Star, Troop 946
<br /> City Attorney Levine - Steve Guenther, 14 years old, First Class, Troop 943
<br /> Police Chief McCloud - Mike Foster, 13 years old, First Class, Troop 916

<br /> Mayor Mercer commended the Boy Scouts and their parents, and congratulated them
<br />on being "good kids", and added that Pleasanton does not always hear the find things
<br />being accomplished by the majority of young people in this town.

<br /> Councilmember Wood stated that pages 15 and 16 of the Minutes of February 10,
<br />1981, were incorrect in the garbage increase rates listed, and he requested this be
<br />corrected as follows:
