Mayor Mercer stated that the City had used Ralph Andersen and Associates to <br /> locate the previous City Manager and that Council had been satisfied with their <br /> services. Mayor Mercer also stated that Ralph Andersen and Associates is familiar <br /> with Pleasanton which would be an advantage other firms would not have. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br /> Resolution No. 81-11, approving the proposal by Ralph Andersen and Associates and <br /> authorizing the City Manager to sign the Agreement with them; and that the 1980-81 <br /> Budget be amended by $6,000.00 to cover the cost of the contract, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: Councilmembers Kephart and Wood <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br /> that the longer advertising period for the recruitment of a Police Chief be used. <br /> The roll call Vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 7:10 P.M., Mayor Mercer adjourned the <br /> Special Meeting, to meet again in Regular Session on January 27, 1981, 8:00 P.M., <br /> at the Fairgrounds Cafeteria. <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />ES R.
