Adoption of Resolution No. 82-208, approving claims for the month of ~y, 1982, <br /> in the amount of $608,332.08. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Wood, and Vice Mayor Mohr <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Butler <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Mercer spok~ regarding a recent LAFCO meeting regarding the proposed <br />Castleridge annexation on Foothill Road. Whereas at the prior hearing the LAFCO de- <br />cision was to require an Environmental Impact Report for the annexation action, LAFCO <br />subsequently determined that an EIR was not necessary until the development proposal <br />comes before the City for review and at that-time, if the City deems it necessary, <br />the City can make the decision as to whether the Environmental Impact Report is neces- <br />sary, and LAFCO approved the annexation. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mercer presented the recommendations for members on the General Plan <br />Steering Committee as follows: <br /> <br /> Paul L.
