457 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 27, 1982 <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION - Personnel <br /> The City Council met at 7:15 P.M., to discuss personnel matters. <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Robert Butler called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order <br /> at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler were present. Mr. <br /> Walker, City Manager, Mr. Swift, Acting City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of <br /> Public Works and Utilities, and Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community <br /> Development, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 4j - Proposed Resolution establishing Stop <br /> Intersections in connection with the Extension of Peters Avenue, be moved on the <br /> agenda to item 12g. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 4n - Acceptance of Public Improvements for <br /> Tract 4432, Country Fair Unit No. 1, be moved on the agenda to item 12h. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion <br /> of this meeting to discuss pending litigation and labor relations. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated with with regard to item 4g - Application of <br /> Northwood Homes for an extension for their approved tentative map 4850; that <br /> this is not normal procedure to grant such extensions. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler requested that the name of Adriana Gianturco, Director of the <br /> California Department of Transportation, be removed from the Proclamation re- <br /> lating to Bike-to-Work Day and National Bicycle Month. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for April 6, 1982. Councilmember Brandes <br /> abstained from voting on this item because he was not a Councilmember at <br /> that time. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim Friday, April 30, 1982, as Bike-to-Work Day, and the month of May <br /> as National Bicycle Month. <br /> <br />c. Proclaim May 10-21, 1982, as Family Communications Week. <br /> <br />d. Proclaim May 15-22, 1982, as National Insurance Women's Week. <br /> <br />e. Proclaim May 9-15, 1982, as Small Business Week. <br /> <br /> <br />
