CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 88-119 RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF CASTILLO COMPANY (STATE FARM INSURANCE) FOR DESIGN APPROVAL FORAN APPROXIMATELY 20,241 8Q. FT. TWO-STORY OFFICE STRUCTURE ON APPROXIMATELY 1.84 ACRES LOCATED ON OWENS DRIVE, JUST WEST OF CHABOT CANAL (PUD-Sl-30-42D) WHEREAS, Castillo Company for State Farm Insurance has applied for design approval to construct an approximately 20,241 sq. ft., two-story, office building on a 1.84 acre site (Site 51C) located on Owens Drive, just west of Chabot Canal; and WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the development plan of the subject site (PUD-81-30) including the typical architectural and site designs for individual lots, and there are no changed circumstances or new information requiring additional environmental review; therefore, this application does not constitute a new project under CEQA and no new environmental documents accompany this application; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 15, 1988 and testimony taken concerning the proposed project including its design, cumulative impact, consistency with PUD-81-30 and the General Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the project is consistent with PUD-81-30 as well as the City's General Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the application of Castillo Company (State Farm Insurance) for design approval for construction of a two story, 20,241 sq. ft. office building on an approximately 1.84 acre site located on Owens Drive, just west of Chabot Canal, subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
