He stated the exterior <br />of the building would remain the same as originally presented. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood asked if pipes would be allowed in the yard, in view of the <br />City's flood plain ordinance. Mr. Scheidig advised that the property is two feet <br />above the flood plain line. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed on the appeal and the Mitigated Negative Declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, <br />that Resolution No. 82-50, determining on the basis of a review of initial environ- <br />mental study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would <br />occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a Mitigated Negative Declaration <br />is appropriate for design review approval of a vehicle maintenance, storage, and pipe <br />assembly facility consisting of two structures totalling 20,220 sq. ft., and an open <br />storage area on a 2.75 acre site on the north side of Johnson Drive approximately 400 <br />feet north of its intersection with Stoneridge Drive, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Wood <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that <br />Resolution No. 82-51, denying the appeal of the City Council of a decision of the <br />Design Review Board, and approving the application of Vorelco of California, Inc., <br />and Dillingham Construction for design review approval of a vehicle maintenance, <br />storage, and pipe assembly facility consisting of two structures totalling 20,220 <br />sq. ft., and an open storage area on a 2.75 acre site on the north side of Johnson <br />Drive approximately 400 feet north of its intersection with Stoneridge Drive, zoning <br />for the property if I-G-40,000 (General Industrial) District, subject to revised plans <br />and all conditions contained in the staff report to the Design Review Board dated <br />December 9, 1981, with the exception that 24" box trees shall be used along the <br />northern property line of the subject property, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Wood <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />An ordinance modifying the_City's growth management regulations by amending Title <br />II~ Chapter 13 (Residential Allocation Program) in its entiret7 <br /> <br />On the basis of an Initial Study of the potential environmental impacts of the <br />p~rojec_t, the Director of Planning and Communit~ Development has determined that <br />the proposed pyoject would not have any potential ~ignificant adverse effects on <br />the environment and that a draft Negative Declaration of environmental impacts be <br />prepared.
