265 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> February 9, 1982 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Kenneth Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. <br />Walker, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, Mr. Swift, Assistant City Attorney, <br />Mr. Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities, and Mr. Harris, Director of <br />Planning and Community Development, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 9a - Adoption of Ordinance No. 1016, approving <br />the application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone two parcels totalling 14.5 acres <br />in the vicinity of 2820 Vineyard Avenue (eastern terminus of Chardonnay Drive) to PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) Residential District, be continued to the meeting of <br />February 23, 1982, at the request of the applicant's attorney. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that items 8d, Be, and 12c, regarding the Growth Management <br /> Plan, be discussed at the same time. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item lla - Recommendations from the Planning Commission <br />regarding vacant I-G (General Industrial) zoned land east of 1-680, be continued to <br />the meeting of February 23, 1982, at the request of a commercial property owner in the <br />area. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised t~re would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion of <br />this meeting to discuss labor relations. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved. <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council for January 26, 1982. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-33, establishing election worker compensation and <br /> polling place rental fees as follows: <br /> <br /> Inspectors $39.50 per day <br /> Judges $34.50 per day <br /> Clerks $34.50 per day <br /> Inspector Training Class $4.00 per participant <br /> Pickup of Election Supplies $5.00 per inspector <br /> <br /> Rental fees for polling places are as follows: <br /> <br /> With Furniture $35.00 <br /> Without Furniture $30.00 <br /> <br /> <br />
