103 <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes and Mohr <br />NOES: Councilmembers Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 82:324) dated August 17, 1982, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Council- <br />member Wood, that Resolution No. 82-326, declaring the property at the northeast <br />corner of Peters Avenue and Bernal Avenue to be surplus to the needs of the City; <br />authorizing the staff to advertise for bids for the sale of the property to be re- <br />ceived by the City Clerk; and establishing the minimum acceptable price for the <br />parcel as $47,280.00, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: Councilmember Mohr <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Approval of Plans and Specification~s_for Traffic Signal Master and Interconnect <br />System <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 82:327) dated August 18, 1982, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Chris Kinsel, representing TJKM Traffic Consultants, presented various <br />drawings describing the proposed system. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Council- <br />member Mohr, that Resolution No. 82-327, approving the plans and specifications for <br />the Traffic Signal Master and Interconnect System, and authorizing Prudential Insur- <br />ance Company to proceed with acquisition and installation work, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Request for annexation from John P. and Fern Corley (Trenery Drive adjacent to the <br />Jordan Group Annexation) <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report '~SR 82:323) dated August 17, 1982, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Gil Barbee, representing John Corley, stated he would answer any questions <br />that Council might have. There were no questions by Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bob Cooper, Trenery Drive, stated he felt Council should postpone any action <br />on this item until after their review of the entire Mohr-Martin area, in order to <br />have well organized planning for this area. <br /> <br /> Mr. A1 Wiemken, Trenery Drive, presented background information on the Mohr-Martin <br />area. He stated he had concerns about the staff report and felt this is an illogical <br />annexation. He requested this item be continued and that the entire area be planned <br />at one time. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Council- <br />member Brandes, directing staff to prepare a formal resolution requesting the annexa- <br />tion and an application to LAFCO for two five-acre parcels on Trenery Drive owned by <br />John and Fern Corley and John Hyder, and requiring the applicant to have an acceptable <br />legal description and map of the proposed annexation (meeting LAFCO standards) pre- <br /> <br /> 14. 8/24/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
