Adoption of Resolution No. 83-499, concerning issuance of revenue bonds to finance the construction of a multifamily housing development by Valley Plaza Associates, and setting a public hearing relative to this matter on November~ 22, 1983, 8:00 P.M., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers. .., The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler NOES: None ABSENT: None MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS Councilmember Mercer asked when the Morrison Homes public hearing that was con- tinued from the meeting of October 11, 1983, would be reconsidered by Council. Staff advised this item will be on the November 22, 1983, agenda. CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS There were no City Council Committee Reports presented at this meeting. MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC Mr. Kevin Brown, 3190 Montpelier Court, representing the Pleasanton Meadows Homeowners Association, presented a letter that had previously been transmitted to Council on September 15, 1983, signed by Edward H. Roquette, outlining this group's concerns about a number of recent and proposed developments at the north end of the City and how these developments will affect the environment and quality of life of the Pleasanton Meadows residents. Mr. Brown reiterated the concerns of this group, particularly the possible extension of West Las Positas Boulevard to E1 Charro and on the Livermore. He requested Council assurance that the Homeowners Association's concerns would be considered. Mayor Butler acknowledged receipt of the letter, and advised that the position of the Pleasanton Meadows Homeowners Association would be 3, 11/8/83
