After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Council- <br />member Mohr, that Resolution No. 83-144, approving that a stop sign be installed on <br />Via de los Milagros at its intersection of Valley Avenue, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> Street Light Report <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 83:128) dated April 7, 1983, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, Council directed staff to take the following action: (1) advise <br />PG&E that the City does not plan to pay the PG&E minimum facility charge for the 630 <br />temporarily de-energized lights; (2) advise PG&E that the City does not object to <br />removal of all de-energized lights from wood distribution poles; (3) advise PG&E that <br />the City would prefer that none of the de-energized street lights on PG&E owned poles <br />be removed; however, if they do plan to proceed with such removal, request that they <br />work closely with the staff to review all affected lights and make appropriate sub- <br />stitutions as deemed necessary by the City Engineer; and (4) notify residents of the <br />proposed removal of street lights for all those lights finally determined to be re- <br />moved. <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his information report (IR 83:0?) dated March 21, 1983, <br />transmitting the Minutes from the Staff Traffic Committee Meeting of March 16, 1983. <br />No action was required or taken by Council on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Agenda Planning Report for the months of <br />April, May, and June, for the information of the Council. <br /> <br />Approval of Plans and Specifications for Pro3ect 83-2, Pleasanton Sports and Recrea- <br />tion Park, Phase IV~ Authorization to Call for Bids, and Approval of Zone ? Agreement <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 83:120) dated April 6, 1983, regarding this <br />matter. He stated that since the time the report was written Zone ? has requested an <br />amendment to the project to allow them to construct an easement for truck access. He <br />advised that this will change the plans and specifications for the bids as well as <br />the agreement with Zone ?. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Mayor Butler, <br />that Resolution No. 83-145, approving the plans and specifications for Project No. 83-2, <br />Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park, Phase IV, authorizing the Call forbids, and <br />approving the Zone ?
