281 MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL February 8, 1983 7:30 P.M. - Mayor Butler and members of the City Council met at 7:30 P.M., in Executive Session to discuss pending litigation. Mayor Butler recessed the Execu- tive Session at 8:00 P.M. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Robert Butler called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler were present. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. H~rris, Director of Planning and Community Development, Mr. Hill, Fire Chief, and Mr. Eastman, Chief of Police, were present. AGENDA ~ENDMENTS Mr. Walker requested that the following two items be added to the Consent Calendar: item 4n - Service Delivery Area Designation under the Job Training Partnership Act - ACTEB/ACAP. item 40 - Approval of Hold Harmless Agreement with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oakland. Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion of this meeting to discuss pending litigation. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that the following listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved: a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 1-25-83. b. Proclaim March 7-13, 1983 as Family Communication Week in Pleasanton. c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1070 approving the application of Ponderosa Homes, Inc., for PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High Density Residential zoning and development plan approval for a 125 lot residential project proposed for approximanely 15 acres of land located on the west side of Valley Avenue between Hansen Drive and Via de los Milagros. d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1071 related to amusement devices and game arcades amend- ing Section 2-5.20, Article 2 (Definitions), and Section 2-7.80 (Permitted and Con- ditional Uses), Article 8 ('C' Commercial Districts), Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Development) Of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton. e. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1072 relating to amusement devices and amending in its entirety Article II (Pinball Machines), Chapter 2 (Special Permits), Title IV (Health, Safety, Morals and General Welfare) of the Ordinance Code 'of the City of Pleasanton.
