167 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> TtiE MEETING <br /> of <br /> TItE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> December !1, 1984 <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. - PRESENTATION ON THE SAIl PJtMON BRANCHLINE TRANSPORTATION STUDY <br /> Mayor Mercer and members of the Council met at 7:30 P.M., for a presentation by <br />Mr. Bud .Murphy, Director of Public Works for Contra Costa County, to provide an <br />update on the San Ramon Branchline Transportation Study. This matter is only for <br />information, and no action was taken regarding the item. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Ma~or Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order <br />at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Acting Clerk Lillian Akin called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. <br />Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, Citv Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of <br />Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development, Mr. Stewart, Chief Building Inspector, Mrs. Wagner, Assistant City <br />Manager, Mrs. Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community Services, Mr. Eastman, <br />Police Chief, and Mr. Lee, Planning Consultant, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker added item 12d - Marriott Courtyard Hotel Application for Sewer <br />Capacity, to the agenda. <br /> <br /> I'~r. %Jalker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion <br />of this meeting to discuss labor relations and pending litigation. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mohr stated the secretary should review the tape of the November <br />27, 1984 meeting. There is an error in the Minutes regardinS the Council's action <br />on the General Plan Conformity of the parcel on Stoneridge--the Senior Citizen <br />Residential Hotel. <br /> <br />CONSEI{T CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that the <br />fo!lowinE items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 11-27-84, as amended. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim the Month of December 1984 as Alcohol Awareness Month. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-608, reappointing Mr. John P. Vizzolini as a trustee <br /> to the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District to represent the City of Pleasan- <br /> ton, said term for two years beginning January 2, 1985. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-609, establishing stop reGuirements on Ross Gate Way <br /> and Laramie Gate Circle at its intersection with gutter Gate Avenue. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-610, approving agreement for contract administration <br /> and inspection of Fire Stateion No. 2 with J. Jack Bras and Associates, and auth- <br /> orizing execution of the aRreement by the appropriate city officials. <br /> <br /> <br />
