Minor Modification to Case PUD-83-23, Planned Unit Development of Richard PareDo Mr. Harris presented his report (IR 84:49) dated August 6, 1984, regarding this matter. No action was required or taken by Council on this item. August, September, and October City Council Agenda Planning Report Mr. Walker presented the City Council agenda planning report for the months of August, Septen~ber, and October. Letter from Committee for Water Policy Consensus Mayor Mercer stated it is no longer necessary to consider this matter. September 25th Council Meeting - League of California Cities Annual Conference Mr. Walker presented his report (IR 84:51) dated August 9, 1984, stating that Council will be attending the League of California Cities Annual Conference in Anaheim on the scheduled date of the Council meeting of September 25th. After discussion, Council scheduled the following dates for Council meetings: September 11; October 2; October 16; and October 30, if necessary. Council also determined to hear General Plan amendments at the meeting of October 2. Erosion Control Procedures Mr. Warnick presented his report (IR 84:50) dated August 14, 1984, regarding this matter. No action was required or taken by Council on this item. REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY Vacation of a Portion of Pimlico Drive Mayor Mercer continued this item to the meeting of August 28, 1984, at the re- quest of staff. COMMUNICATIONS Mayor Mercer presented a letter from CHG International dated August 10, 1984, requesting annexation of property on Foothill Road that is contiguous with the cur- rent city limits. Mr. Sig A. Kriegsman, representing the applicants, elaborated on the boundary of property proposed to be annexed. After discussion, Council instructed staff to prepare the necessary report to initiate annexation proceedings for the subject property on Foothill Road for review at the meeting of August 28, 1984, and to notify all surrounding property owners. Staff was also instructed to investigate the possibility of including the Moller quarry in this annexation. Mr. Steve Hughes, 587 Touriga Court, stated that a resident of Old Town had asked him why the entrance of this development has not been landscaped. Mayor Mercer advised him that landscaping plans for this area have been included in the Capital Improvement Budget for the last three years but Council had determined that the money should be spent elsewhere, however, it would probably be done this year.
