No action was required or taken by Council on this item. <br /> <br />Minor Modification to Case PUD-83-23, Planned Unit Development of Richard PareDo <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (IR 84:49) dated August 6, 1984, regarding this <br />matter. No action was required or taken by Council on this item. <br /> <br />August, September, and October City Council Agenda Planning Report <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council agenda planning report for the months of <br />August, Septen~ber, and October. <br /> <br />Letter from Committee for Water Policy Consensus <br /> Mayor Mercer stated it is no longer necessary to consider this matter. <br /> <br />September 25th Council Meeting - League of California Cities Annual Conference <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report (IR 84:51) dated August 9, 1984, stating that <br />Council will be attending the League of California Cities Annual Conference in Anaheim <br />on the scheduled date of the Council meeting of September 25th. After discussion, <br />Council scheduled the following dates for Council meetings: September 11; October 2; <br />October 16; and October 30, if necessary. Council also determined to hear General <br />Plan amendments at the meeting of October 2. <br /> <br />Erosion Control Procedures <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (IR 84:50) dated August 14, 1984, regarding this <br />matter. No action was required or taken by Council on this item. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />Vacation of a Portion of Pimlico Drive <br /> Mayor Mercer continued this item to the meeting of August 28, 1984, at the re- <br />quest of staff. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> Mayor Mercer presented a letter from CHG International dated August 10, 1984, <br />requesting annexation of property on Foothill Road that is contiguous with the cur- <br />rent city limits. <br /> <br /> Mr. Sig A. Kriegsman, representing the applicants, elaborated on the boundary <br />of property proposed to be annexed. <br /> <br /> After discussion, Council instructed staff to prepare the necessary report to <br />initiate annexation proceedings for the subject property on Foothill Road for review <br />at the meeting of August 28, 1984, and to notify all surrounding property owners. <br />Staff was also instructed to investigate the possibility of including the Moller <br />quarry in this annexation. <br /> <br /> Mr. Steve Hughes, 587 Touriga Court, stated that a resident of Old Town had <br />asked him why the entrance of this development has not been landscaped. Mayor Mercer <br />advised him that landscaping plans for this area have been included in the Capital <br />Improvement Budget for the last three years but Council had determined that the money <br />should be spent elsewhere, however, it would probably be done this year. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the <br />Council. <br /> <br /> 13. 8/14/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
