Mayor Mercer advised he had received a communication from PT&T this date request- <br /> ing that this matter be continued to allow for further review. He also presented <br /> letters from Kaiser Aluminum, Kaiser Permanente, Safeway Stores, Inc., and Pleasanton <br /> Convalescent Hospital - all in opposition to the proposed ordinance. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jack Hovingh, 4250 Muirwood Drive, stated he supports this ordinance and that <br /> it is necessary for quality growth in Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Ms. Carol Frazier-Middleton, Transportation Manager for Hacienda Business Park, <br /> stated she supports the ordinance. <br /> <br /> Ms. Susan Diamond,Attorney representing Hacienda Business Park, stated she supports <br /> the TSM ordinance and requested that it be acted upon as soon as possible. <br /> <br /> After discussion, Mayor Mercer instructed staff to schedule a meeting with every- <br /> one who will be affected by this ordinance to discuss the details of the proposed <br /> ordinance, then prepare a report for further review by Council. <br /> <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the <br /> Council. <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 11:25 P.M., to an Executive Session to <br /> discuss pending litigation, labor relations, and personnel. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 12:30 A.M. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 12:35 A.M., it was moved by Councilmember <br /> Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that the meeting be adjourned to meet <br /> again in Regular Session on June 26, 1984, 8:00 P.M., in the Pleasanton Council <br /> Chambers. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />S R.
