After further discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by <br />Mayor Mercer, that Resolution No. 84-251, instructing staff to continue negotiating <br />an agreement for improvements at the west end of the Sports Park at the Hopyard Road <br />intersection; make improvements to the S curve within the park site; approval of <br />Alternative 3A as presented by the citizens committee for 20' emergency access on <br />Sutter Gate Avenue, gated at ingress to Zone 7 arroyo, with a second gate at Marian <br />Court egress, Lot numbers 21 and 22 should each have a 5' minimum setback from common <br />property line, 10' pedestrian/bicycle access with 6' masonry walls with adequate ob- <br />struction to prohibit motorcycle passage, bulb finish to Sutter gate Avenue; instructing <br />staff to look into the feasibility of what type gates to use and what landscaping; and <br />determining that this action does not conflict with Ordinance No. 885, be adopted. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, to amend <br />the proposed motion to require that Hacienda Business Park and Crocker Homes pay for <br />the landscaping along northern Sutter Gate boundary as shown in Alternative 3A, to the <br />end of the existing sidewalk, with the City to maintain the landscaping. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />The roll call vote on the Adoption of Resolution No. 84-251 as amended was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> No action was required or taken on a Negative Declaration in connection with this <br />item because Ordinance No. 885 was left in tact. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 10:35 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 10:40 P.M. <br /> <br />Application of Frank Auf der Maur for PUD (Planned Unit Development)-development plan <br />~pproval of an approximately 38 acre commercial business park consisting of 32 commer- <br />cial lots ranging in size from 0.5 to over 1.0 acre in size and related facilities to <br />be located at the eastern terminus of the Del VaAle parkway - southeast of the inter- <br />section of Washington Street and Stanley Boulevard.
