Councilmember Mohr stated that Mayor Mercer brought this matter to the attention <br /> of Council and she suggested it be continued for full Council attendance. Mr. Mac- <br /> Donald advised that Mayor Mercer feels this matter should be acted on at this meeting. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Vice Mayor Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Reso- <br /> lution No. 84-235, declaring that the City Council of the City of Pleasanton is opposed <br /> to AB 12 Hazardous Waste Management unless AB 12 is amended to resolve the four con- <br /> cerns stated in Staff Report 84:245, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Butler and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> Mr. Jack Hovingh, 4250 Muirwood Drive, stated it looks bad when Council approves <br /> a project after a sum of money has been offered to the City by the developer for <br /> various improvements. He stated he is not suggesting anything is wrong, but it does <br /> look bad and reflect upon the City. <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL CALE~DAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the <br /> Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised that Mr. Glenn, Planning Analyst, is resigning from the City <br /> after eleven years of employment, and that Friday will be his last day. Council com- <br /> mended Mr. Glenn for his outstanding performance in the Planning Department and ex- <br /> tended best wishes for his future endeavors. <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> There was no Executive Session scheduled for this meeting. <br /> <br /> ADJOU~[MENT <br /> There being no further business at 10:45 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember Mohr, <br /> and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in <br /> Adjourned Regular Session on May 14, 1984, 7:30 P.M., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers, <br /> to interview candidates for Planning Commissioner appointment. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Butler and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />,//E~ R.
