Mr. Will Heinrich, 3683 Vineyard Avenue, asked for approval of the application, <br /> and stated he agrees with the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Sharon Naylor, 415 Linden Way, stated that based upon the recent traffic <br /> studies and the fact that Remen Tract residents will be meeting with City officials <br /> next week regarding pre-annexation agreements, she felt this application is premature. <br /> She requested the matter be continued until after the above-set meeting is held. <br /> <br /> Mr. Harry Caldwell, 3745 Vineyard Avenue, stated he and his wife are in favor of <br /> the rezoning application, and he urged Council to vote to approve the item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tom Dillard, 452 Linden Way, asked Council to postpone any decision on this <br /> matter until after the pre-annexation meeting on April 3rd. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed <br /> on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was movedby Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Council- <br /> member Brandes, to reopen the public hearing on RZ-84-18, application of the City of <br /> Pleasanton to prezone the five parcels totalling approximately 1.9+ acres located at <br /> 3655, 3683, and 3731 Vineyard Avenue to the PUD (Planned Unit DeveYopment) Medium <br /> Density Residential District or any other zoning district in conformance with the <br /> General Plan, and accompanying Negative Declaration, and continue this matter until <br /> after the meeting between Remen Tract residents and City officials. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Hearing o~.objections by prope~.~X owners to the proposed'removal and abatement of <br />nuisance caused by noxious or dangerous weeds growing upon or in front of property <br />owned by them in the City of Pleasanton <br /> Mr. MacDonald presented his report (SR 85:158) dated March 20, 1985, regarding <br /> this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in protest to the weed abatement program for 1985. <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />Resolution No. 85-161, after hearing no protests, approVing the weed abatement program <br />for 1985, and authorizing the appropriate staff members to proceed with the abatement <br />of the nuisance caused by noxious or dangerous weeds growing on certain properties in <br />the City of Pleasanton as set forth in Exhibit A of Resolution No. 85-135, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />Appeal of Dean Wagerman Reg. ardin~ Address Assignments at Deer Oaks Subdivision~ <br />Tract 4940 <br /> CounCilmember Butler asked if other residences in this subdivision had two-digit <br />numbers.
