Adoption of Resolution No. 85-68, approving the proposal of Wilbur Smith and <br /> Associates, Inc., of San Francisco, for review of the traffic impacts of the <br /> proposed park on the northwest corner of Valley Avenue and Hopyard Road; auth- <br /> orizing execution of the agreement by the appropriate city officials; and amend- <br /> ing the master plan budget for the subject park to $25,250 to cover the addi- <br /> tional cost of the traffic analysis for this project. Council requested staff <br /> to obtain citizen input regarding this item. <br /> <br />o. Adoption of Resolution No. 85-69, naming the Police Department as the local <br /> licensing authority for concealable firearms dealers. <br /> <br />p. Approval by ~mtion, that Council send a letter to the Public Utilities Commis- <br /> sion urging them to grant the permit needed for a Hacienda Business Park Shuttle <br /> Service. <br /> <br />q. Adoption of Resolution No. 85-70, approving modification of the agreement between <br /> DKS Associates and the City of Pleasanton dated October 30, 1984, to include, at <br /> a cost of $3,500 to be paid for by CPS and Prudential Insurance Company, the per- <br /> formance of additional consultant work as follows: <br /> <br /> t. Refine the bus routes proposed for Pleasanton in the original Pleasanton/ <br /> Dublin Transit Study to better service the business parks in the northern <br /> portion of the city and make minor changes to the routes originally pro- <br /> posed for Dublin; <br /> <br /> 2. Refine the bus routes proposed for Pleasanton and Dublin in the supple- <br /> mental study to insure a 75/25 service level split between Pleasanton and <br /> Dublin respectively; <br /> <br /> 3. Prepare a cost estimate and service/equity analysis for items 1 and 2 above; <br /> <br /> 4. Prepare an implementation schedule for items 1 and 2 above. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Mohr stated there will be a Pleasanton-Dublin Transit Study Com- <br />mittee meeting Wednesday, February 13th, 5:00 P.M., to review the final Joint Powers <br />Agreement, which will ultimately be transmitted to Council for consideration. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mohr stated she has received a request from Hacienda Business Park <br />asking that the City send a letter to BART requesting them to consider extending <br />service through Hacienda Business Park. Council concurred. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood thanked Councilmembers Butler and Mohr, and Mayor Mercer for <br />their contribution from their campaign funds to the Amador High School Auditorium <br />restoration. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood stated there seems to be some confusion relative to the <br />Pleasanton Do~-mtown Improvement District. He stated it was his understanding that <br />the Do~.mtown Association and business people would come back to Council with their <br /> <br /> 3. 2/12/85 <br /> <br /> <br />
