It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Ordinance No. 1230, approval of PUD-85-17, application of Callahan Pentz Properties for development plan approval to allow the construction of a 412 unit apartment complex on an approximately 16 acre site located on the north side of Andrews Drive between West Las Positas Boulevard and Old Santa Rita Road, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, and Wood NOES: Mayor Brandes ABSENT: None SPECIAL REPORTS Mayor Brandes stated that a request has been received from the City of Livermore, asking for City of Pleasanton support of their opposition to the Branaugh Mining Permit No. 18, which was approved by the Alameda County Plan- ning Department and is to be considered by the Board of Supervisors on Novem- ber 21, 1985. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, to support the City of Livermore's appeal of the Alameda County Planning Commission's approval of Surface Mining Permit No. 18, and to so advise the Board of Supervisors of this position.
