Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- lows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were pres- ent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Swift, Di- ..... rector of Planning and Community Development, Mr. Okamura, Acting Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Hammon, Director of Finance, Mr. Hill, Fire Chief, Mr. Smith, Director of Inspection Services, Mr. Eastman, Police Chief, Mr. Miller, Assistant to the City Manager, and Mrs. Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community Services, were present. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Walker requested that the following items be removed from the agenda: item 4p Inducement Resolution Hacienda Gardens item 4q - Reorganization of Planning Department Personnel item 13b- Consideration of Modifications to Condominium Conversion Ordinance Relating to Rent Adjustments Mr. Walker requested that an item be added to the Consent Calendar as follows: item 4r Closing of Main Street for Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclu- sion of this meeting to discuss pending litigation: Mary Ball and Margo Russell cases. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember But- ler, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved: a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 11-5-85. bo Adoption of Ordinance No. 1231, amendment to the Transportation System Management (TSM) Ordinance (Ordinance No. 1154., Title II, Chapter 17 PMC). c. Adoption of Resolution No. 85-541, supporting the Valley AIDS Seminar scheduled for December 5, 1985. - I -
