4O9 <br /> <br />Community Facilities <br /> <br />Councilmember Brandes felt all the options had merit but that a <br />Civic Center Complex was extremely important. He also feels a <br />large gymnasium is greatly needed. Commissioner Lindsay agreed <br />with all of them. Councilmember Mohr supported the need for a <br />Senior Service Center. Mayor Mercer noted that we must consider <br />our 27,000 acres as we contemplate the eight options. <br /> <br />Open Space <br /> <br />Mr. Lee pointed out that the Residential Review Committee <br />recommended that all lands below 670 feet in elevation and 25% in <br />slope be redesignated to Rural Density Residential. <br /> <br />Commissioner Lindsay reminded us that we speak of the quality of <br />life and aesthetics as they pertain to Pleasanton. He feels that <br />we should do as little as possible to disturb the aesthetic <br />quality of the ridge. Everyone agreed. <br /> <br />The consensus was that Option 3 was the direction to go. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mayor Mercer adjourned the meeting at 9:35 P.M.
