.... -395- <br /> <br />9.3 acre site bounded by Stoneridge Drive to the north, Highway 1-680 to the <br />east, and Stonedale Drive to the west <br />(Intro. 8-6-85, 3-Ayes, 2-Absent) <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that Ordinance No. 1213 was introduced on August 6, <br />1985, by a vote of 3-Ayes, 2-Absent, and that it was now in order to adopt the <br />ordinance. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Ordinance No. 1213, approval of PUD-85-12, application of Sacramento <br />Developers, Inc., for PUD (Planned Unit Development) zoning and development <br />plan approval for a 56 unit townhouse complex on an approximately 9.3 acre <br />site bounded by Stoneridge Drive to the north, Highway 1-680 to the east, and <br />Stonedale Drive to the west, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Brandes and Butler <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Actions Taken by the Design Review Board and Planning Commission at their <br />meeting of 8-14-85 <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 85:394) dated August 15, 1985, regard- <br />ing this matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Council- <br />member Mohr, to appeal UP-85-19, application of the Prudential Insurance Com- <br />pany for conditional use permit approval to operate an interim heliport for <br />private use on a portion of an approximately 2.3 acre site located on the <br />southeast corner of Owens Drive and Chabot Drive, and Z-85-176, application of <br />the Prudential Insurance Company for design review approval to construct an <br />interim heliport on a portion of an approximately 2.3 acre site located on the <br />southwest corner of Owens Drive and Chabot Drive, in order to obtain addition- <br />al information regarding this matter. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Brandes and Butler <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Acquisition of Southern Pacific Right-of-Way <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report (SR 85:398) dated August 20, 1985, regard- <br />ing this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />authorizing staff to continue to participate in the transportation corridor <br />feasibility study the County is now preparing; confirming that the Southern <br />Pacific right-of-way through Pleasanton should be acquired to preserve it for <br />public benefit; and instructing the staff to work with the County to acquire <br />the Southern Pacific right-of-way through Pleasanton. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Brandes and Butler <br /> <br /> 8 - 8-20-85 <br /> <br /> <br />
