It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br />approving staff recommendations and authorizing the City Attorney to sign let- <br />ter after both Koll and Fromm have signed. <br />The. roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Three-Month Agenda Planning Report <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Agenda Planning Report for th months <br />of July, August, and September. <br /> <br />Approval of NPID Exemption Agreement - Valley Memorial Hospital <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 85:316) dated June 26, 1985, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mohr expressed concern that permitting any hospital other <br />than specifically Valley Memorial Hospital might set a precedent for other <br />non-profit hospitals such as Kaiser to apply for such an exemption. Mr. Mac- <br />Donald assured her that Mr. Brunsell, the City's Bond Counsel, feels this is <br />within the policy discretion of the Council. <br /> <br /> It was moved by COuncilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember But- <br />ler, that Resolution No. 85-332, approving the North Pleasanton Improvement <br />District Exemption Agreement with Valley Memorial Hospital, and authorizing <br />execution of the agreement by the appropriate city officials, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> There were no reports of the City Attorney presented at this meeting.' <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Letter from Ponderosa Homes <br /> This matter was considered after Public Hearings on the agenda. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the <br />Council. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 11:20 p.m., <br />to discuss negotiations for land purchase and labor relations. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer reconvene~ the meeting at 11:34 p.m. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 11:50 p.m., it was moved by Councimem- <br />ber Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that the meeting be adjourned <br />to meet again in Regular Session on July 16, 1985, 8:00 p.m., in the Pleasan- <br />ton Council Chambers. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> -Z2- 7-2-85 <br /> <br /> <br />
