MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 1, 1986 <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Members of the City Council met in Executive Session at 7:45 p.m., to dis- <br /> cuss authorization to institute eminent domain action against Frumenti <br /> Development (re portion of Buttercup Pantri Property) and against Hilde/Walner <br /> (re portion of Burger King property). <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Vice Mayor Karin Mohr called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br /> order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- <br /> lows: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, and Wood were present. Mayor <br /> Brandes was absent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, <br />--- Mr. Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development, and Mr. Okamura, <br /> Acting Director of Public Works and Utilities, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested an item be added to the Consent Calendar as item 4s - <br /> Proclaim April 14-19, 1986 as Earthquake Preparedness Week. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised that the public hearing on item 4r - Assessment Dis- <br /> trict No. 1982-2, Valley Business Park Refunding, should be set for May 1, <br /> 1986. After discussion, Vice Mayor Mohr declared the public hearing be <br /> scheduled for May 1, 1986, 5:00 p.m., at the Pleasanton Council Chambers. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br /> that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, <br /> be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 3-18-86. <br /> <br /> bo Proclaim April 28-May 2, 1986 as Wellness to Work Week in Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1248, approval of PUD-81-28-3Mz application of <br /> Pleasanton Station Associates for a major modification to an approved <br /> development plan for a commercial complex on an approximately 1.1 acre <br />- site located on the south side of Neal Street. <br /> <br /> d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1249, amending the Zoning Ordinance relating to <br /> design review for second-story additions to existing structures in <br /> residential districts. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-116, declaring that weeds, rubbish or refuse <br /> upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of <br /> Pleasanton constitute a public nuisance and that the same shall be abated, <br /> <br /> - 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
