MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> March 18, 1986 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Frank C. Brandes, Jr., called the Regular Meeting of the City Coun- <br />cil to order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- <br />lows: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes were pres- <br />ent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Swift, Di- <br />rector of Planning and Community Development, and Mr. Okamura, Acting Director <br />of Public Works and Utilities, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested the following item be added to the agenda: <br /> <br />item 4u - Proclaim March 17-22, 1986 as De Molay Week. <br /> <br /> · Mr. Walker requested that the following items be removed from the agenda: <br />item'4t - Refunding of Valley Business Park Assessment District No. 1982-2; <br /> <br />item 8b - PUD-86-2, Application of Lee Reid and Myers Development Corporation' <br /> for rezoning from CS (Commercial Service) District to PUD (Planned <br /> Unit Development)-Commercial District and development plan approval <br /> for an 800 unit, two-structure, three-story mini-storage facility on <br /> an approximately 1.3 acre site located at 3722 Old Santa Rita Road <br /> and Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration; <br /> <br />item 8c - PUD-86-3, Application of Public Storage, Inc., for rezoning from CS <br /> (Commercial Service) District to PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br /> Commercial District and development plan approval for a four build- <br /> ing, 84,000 sq. ft. mini-storage facility on an approximately 1.45 <br /> acre site located at 3744 and 3768 Old Santa Rita Road and Consider <br /> Adoption of Negative Declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following item be continued to the meeting <br />of 4-15-86, at the request of the applicant: <br /> <br />item 8f - AP-86-O1, Appeal by the City Council of a decision of the Planning <br /> Commission's approval of Z-85-408, Application of The Associates for <br /> a signing program for their building located at 4301 Hacienda Drive. <br /> Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br /> Industrial, Commercial and Offices District. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker suggested that item 12c - Review of Library Design and Con- <br />struction Budget, be considered after item 6a - Status Report on Valley Avenue <br />Extension Project, since they both relate to Proposition 4 funding.
