Councilmember Mercer requested that the Mayor be authorized to write a <br /> letter to Mr. Schwerin regarding final action for annexation of his property <br /> on Foothill Road across from the Shopping Center. He believed that Council <br />Or} took all the necessary action several months ago to have this property annexed <br /> to the City. After discussion, Council authorized the Mayor to write the ap- <br />([}') propriate letter to Mr. Schwerin, setting a time limit of 30 days for him to <br />· =! take action relative to finalizing annexation proceedings for the subject <br />Imi property. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes presented a letter from the Measure B Committee, requesting <br /> Council assistance to promote this issue. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes presented a letter from John Payne, requesting permission to <br /> participate in the Mortgage Revenue Bond Program for his project on Stanley <br /> Boulevard. After discussion, Council instructed staff to place this matter on <br /> the March 4th agenda. <br /> <br />-' Mayor Brandes presented a memorandum from the City Manager regarding the <br /> vacancy on the Housing Authority Commission. Zoning for the prop- <br /> erty is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial, Commercial and Offices <br /> District <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on this item, and continued <br /> it to the meeting of March 4, 1986, 8:00 p.m., in the Pleasanton Council Cham- <br /> bers, at the request of the applicant. <br /> <br /> MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> Adoption of Ordinance No. 1244, Approval of RZ-85-18, Application of the City <br /> of Pleasanton to amend the Zoning Ordinance Relating to Setbacks required for <br /> Patio Covers in R-1 (Single-family Residential) Districts <br /> (Intro. 2-4-86, 4-Ayes,l-No) <br /> Mayor Brandes stated that Ordinance No. 1244 was introduced on February 4, <br /> 1986, by a vote of 4-Ayes, 1-No, and that it was now in order to adopt the <br /> ordinance. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br /> that Ordinance No. 1244, approval of RZ-85-18, application of the City of <br /> Pleasanton to amend the Zoning Ordinance relating to setbacks required for <br /> Patio Covers in R-1 (Single-family Residential) Districts, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Brandes <br /> NOES: Councilmember Mercer <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br /> <br /> 4 - 2-18-86 <br /> <br /> <br />
