No action was required or taken by Council on the item. <br /> <br />Amador Shopping Center Request for Armed Forces Day Display May 10, 1986 <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report (SR 86:33) dated January 21, 1986, regard- <br />ing this matter. <br /> <br /> Ms. Frances Walz, 1899 Greenwood Road, acting as liaison between the Army, <br />Amador Shopping Center, and the City, asked permission to hold the Armed For- <br />ces Day display on May 10, 1986, in the Amador Shopping Center parking lot and <br />a small portion of the park. She advised the park area would be used for a <br />security dog team to display their drills. She also requested that a helicop- <br />ter be allowed to land at the park site. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 86-36, approving the Armed Forces <br />Day Display on May 10, 1986, at the Amador Shopping Center and small portion <br />of Amador Park for use by a security dog team, but not allowing any helicopter <br />landings at the site, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> There were no reports of the City Attorney presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the <br />Council. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Brandes recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 9:45 p.m., <br />to discuss labor relations and pending litigation Barbara Ross vs. City. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes reconvened the meeting at 10:45 p.m. <br /> <br /> - 9 1-21-86 <br /> <br /> <br />
