MINUTES <br /> of <br /> MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> January 7, 1986 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Frank C. Brandes, Jr., called the Regular Meeting of the City Coun- <br /> cil to order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- <br />lows: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes were pres- <br />ent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Swift, Di- <br />rector of Planning and Community Development, Mr. Okamura, Acting Director of <br />Public Works and Utilities, and Mr. Hill, Fire Chief, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following two items be removed from the <br />agenda: <br /> <br /> item 4i - Approval of Memorandum of Understanding between City of Pleasanton <br /> and State of California for North Pleasanton Improvement District <br /> Projects Freeway. <br /> <br /> item 4o - Acceptance of Public Service Easement from Harbor View Investors, <br /> Inc. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclu- <br />sion of this meeting to discuss pending litigation Barbara Ross vs. City. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, <br />be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 12-16-85 and 12-17-85. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim September 17, 1987 as United States Constitution Day. <br /> <br />c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1235, approval of PUD-85-2-2D, application of <br /> the Val Strough Company for development plan approval for four auto <br /> dealership buildings on a 5.8 acre site located on Rosewood Drive south of <br /> 1-580 and northwest of Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1236, approval of PUD-85-15, application of the <br /> Walter Johnson Foundation for PUD (Planned Unit Development) zoning and <br /> development plan approval for a 210 unit project consisting of 95 custom <br /> lots and 115 townhouses on a 316 acre site located on both sides of Foot- <br /> hill Road midway between Bernal Avenue and Castlewood Drive. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1237, approval of PUD-84-12, application of Fal- <br /> con Development Company for rezoning from "A" (Agricultural) to PUD <br /> <br /> - 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
