No action was required or taken by Council on the item. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Approval of A reement with Hop~ard Partners Regarding Construction of Parking <br /> Facilit~ and ~rant of Easements on Pleasanton Canal <br /> Mr. MacDonald presented his report (SR 86:336) dated July 31, 1986, <br /> regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mercer stated his was his understanding that Hopyard <br /> Partners could occupy their buildings prior to the start of construction pf <br /> the parking facilities. <br /> <br /> Mr. Doug Aikins, 4637 Chabot Drive, Attorney representing Hopyard <br /> Partners, stated this is consistent with the language of the agreement. <br /> <br />-- It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br /> that Resolution No. 86-377, approval of agreement with Hopyard Partners <br /> regarding construction of parking facility and grant of easements on Pleasan- <br /> ton Canal, subject to the additional condition that no additional space may be <br /> leased in the existing Hopyard Center until actual construction has begun on <br /> the parking facility, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Mercer and Mohr <br /> NOES: Mayor Brandes <br /> ABSENT: Councilmembers Butler and Wood <br /> <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the <br /> Council. <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Brandes recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 10:15 p.m., <br /> <br /> 13 - 8-5-86 <br /> <br /> <br />
