CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mer- <br /> cer, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended <br /> thereto, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 7-1-86 and 7-8-86. <br /> <br /> b. Proclaim October 12-18, 1986 as East Bay Business Women's Week. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-313, acceptance of the resurfacing of Kot- <br /> tinger Park Asphaltic pathways, Project No. 86-14; approving a 10% reten- <br /> tion of $3,859.34 and a final payment to Gallagher and Burk, Inc. in the <br /> amount of $34,734.03; and authorizing the City Attorney to file a Notice <br /> of Completion for the project. <br /> <br /> d. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-314, acceptance of two sanitary sewer pump <br /> houses, Project No. 85-27; approving final payment to Pleasanton Engineer- <br /> ing Contractors in the amount of $17,955.00; and authorizing a 10% reten- <br /> tion in the amount of $1,995.00. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-315, reaffirming certain policies for the <br /> November 4, 1986 Municipal Election, relating to cost of printing state- <br /> ment of qualifications, limitation of words on the statement of qualifica- <br /> tions, and limit the official election materials sent to voters to the <br /> sample ballots and voter pamphlets. <br /> <br /> f. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-316, Acceptance of Public Improvements for <br /> Tract 5115, Linwood Townhouses Linwood Townhomes, A General Partnership. <br /> <br /> g. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-317, renewal of contract with C. A. Sabah <br /> and Company for maintenance of the civic center's fire extinguishing sys- <br /> tem, for a period of one yearing ending May 22, 1987, for an annual cost <br /> of $500.00; and authorizing execution of the contract by the City Manager. <br /> <br /> h. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-318, acceptance of public improvement for <br /> Tawny Park (Ken Earp Investments); and authorizing the City Attorney to <br /> file a Notice of Completion upon receipt of the maintenance bond. <br /> <br /> i. Introduction of Ordinance No. 1264, to be read by title only and waiving <br /> further reading thereof, establishing a speed limit of 50 miles per hour <br /> on Hopyard Road between West Las Positas Boulevard and 1-580. <br /> <br />j. Move to item 89 - Authorization to Initiate Condemnation Action for <br /> Southern Pacific Railroad Right-of-Way at Bernal Avenue. <br /> <br />k. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-319, approval of agreement and acceptance of <br /> easement from Reynolds and Brown (Delta Properties) for the Owens Drive <br /> extension to Johnson Drive; and authorizing execution of the documents by <br /> the appropriate city officials. <br /> <br />1. Continue indefinitely - Approval of Construction and Maintenance Agreement <br /> with Railroads. <br /> <br />m.
