Mr. Pat O'Brian, representing Callahan Pentz Properties and Prudential <br /> Insurance Company, stated he concurs with the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes asked Mr. O'Brian if he had any objections to this property <br /> being included in the assessment district under its original use. Mr. O'Brian <br /> stated he thought this property was included in the Hacienda Business Park <br /> water and fire assessment district alrady. He stated he did not feel the <br /> property should be included in the upcoming freeway assessment district. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this application. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Brandes declared the public hear- <br /> ing closed. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by <br />Mayor Brandes, that Resolution No. 86-285, approving GP-86-1, application of <br />Callahan-Pentz Properties and Prudential Insurance Company of America to amend <br />the General Plan Land Use Element designation of an approximately 10.5 acre <br />site from Commercial and Offices and Public Health and Safety to High Density <br />Residential located generally in the area bounded by Owens Drive, West Las <br />Positas Boulevard, a portion of the former railroad right-of-way of the <br />Southern Pacific Transportation Company, and Tassajara Creek, with the expec- <br />tation that adjustments be made in the upcoming revisions to the General Plan <br />which would maintain the 75%/25% single-family/multiple-family unit housing <br />balance policy or whatever housing mix policy is adopted as part of the re- <br />vised General Plan, and with the condition that no changes in the North <br />Pleasanton Improvement District be made to exclude this property from the <br />North Pleasanton Improvement District as a result of this general plan change, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />PUD-86-5, Application of Callahan-Pentz Properties and Prudential Insurance <br />Company of America to rezone an approximately 10.5 acre site from PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development/-Office District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High <br />Density Residential District, located generally in the area bounded by Owens <br />Drive, West Las Positas Boulevard, a portion of the former railroad ri ht-of- <br />way of the Southern Pacific Trans ortation Compan , and Tassajara Cree~. <br />Zoning for the property is PUD (Pfanned Unit DeveTopment)-Offices District <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 86:248) dated June 17, 1986, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on the application and the <br />negative declaration. <br /> <br />Mr. Pat O'Brian, representing Callahan-Pentz Properties and Prudential <br />Insurance Company, stated he basically is in agreement with the staff report. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to the application or negative <br />declaration. <br /> <br /> - 8 - 6-17-86 <br /> <br /> <br />
