Adoption of Resolution No. 86-192, approval of plans and Improvement <br /> Agreement with the Prudential Insurance Company of America for the 1-580 <br /> interchange with Hopyard Road, Phase 1B improvements; and authorizing the <br /> Mayor to execute the agreement. <br /> <br /> i. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-193, supporting Proposition 43 which places <br /> before the voters of California on June 3, 1986, a bond measure to provide <br /> funding for parks and recreational development, restoration, land acquisi- <br /> tion and other related purposes. <br /> <br /> j. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-194, authorizing the filing of a claim with <br /> the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for allocation of Transporta- <br /> tion Development Act 4.5 funds for senior transportation for Fiscal Year <br /> 1986-87; and authorizing the Director of Parks and Community Services to <br /> execute and file the claim. <br /> <br /> k. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-199, denying the claim of Julia Clauser in <br /> the sum of $120.00 for the repair of a door damaged by the Police Depart- <br /> ment during an arrest; and referring this matter to the City Attorney for <br /> further handling. <br /> <br /> o. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-200, denying the claim of California State <br /> Automobile Association for damages incurred by its insured, Stanley Kin- <br /> sel, whose car was hit by a street sweeper; and referring this matter to <br /> the City Attorney for further handling, <br /> <br /> p. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-201, denying the claims of Joan Thonack and <br /> Eugene Thonack in the sum of $100,000 for injuries to Ms. Thonack when she <br /> was riding a bicycle and hit a steel post on a bikepath; and referring <br /> this matter to the City Attorney for further handling. <br /> <br /> q. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-202, denying the claim of Unigard Insurance <br /> Group in the sum of $17,849.00, for damages to Tri-Valley Wholesale Flori- <br /> est located at 3510 Old Santa Rita Road, when a vehicle went out of con- <br /> trol and crashed into the premises due to water on the surface of the <br /> roadway; and referring this matter to the City Attorney for further <br /> handling. <br /> <br /> r. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-203, denying the claims of Lorey Webster and <br /> Mark Smothers in the sume of $100,000 in alleged property damage and false <br /> <br /> - 2 5-6-86 <br /> <br /> <br />
