He also advised that Mayor Giuliani of Hayward has indi- <br />cated he is willing to de-annex from Palomares Canyon eastward to Pleasanton, <br />but this might require a financial commitment from Pleasanton relative to road <br />maintenance, landscaping, etc. After further discussion, Council instructed <br />the Mayor to write to the Mayor of Hayward to determine Hayward's position <br />relative to de-annexation of the property east of Palomares Road and a pos- <br />sible timetable for such action. <br /> <br /> Independent Auditors Annual Management Letter <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Finance (IR 86:39) dat- <br />ed May 6, 1986, regarding this matter. Lamb, and Diane Martin, Executrix for the Estate of Vassallo <br /> Mr. Okamura presented his report (SR 86:178) dated May 6, 1986, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to the cost dis- <br />tribution as shown in the agreement. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Resolution No. 86-212, approving the reimbursement agreement in connec- <br />tion with the Foothill Road Sanitary Sewer Mutual Benefit District - Ralph <br />Romero, Jr., Kristen J.
