325 <br /> Mr. Conroe stated that with regard to the incremental impact from the <br /> project, the amount of traffic generated is insignificant. He added that cur- <br /> rent improvements to Hopyard Road are causing problems on Foothill Road and <br /> this fact is not reflected in the staff report. He stated that much time has <br /> been spent working on this project and he did not want to wait until the out- <br /> come of the Stoneridge Interchange project for approval of this application. <br /> <br /> Mr. John Mozart, representing Mozart Development Company, stated they need <br /> a decision on this matter tonight. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br /> closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember But- <br /> ler, that Resolution No. 86-578, determining on the basis of a review of ini- <br /> tial environmental study done for this project, that no significant environ- <br /> mental impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a <br /> negative declaration is appropriate in connection with PUD-81-22-1M, applica- <br /> tion of Mozat Development Company and Regis Homes for a major modification to <br /> an approved development plan for a commercial/office/residential complex to <br /> allow for a 520-unit condominium/apartment complex, to be located on an ap- <br />L(') proximately 20.6 acre site located generally in the area of the northeast <br /> corner of the intersection of Stoneridge Drive and Stoneridge Mall Road, be <br />OJ adopted. <br />(~ The roll call vote was as follows: <br />~ AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson a,d Mayor Mercer <br />~ NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by <br /> Mayor Mercer, that Ordinance No. 1293, to be read by title only and waiving <br /> further reading thereof, after determining the uniqueness of this project, <br /> approve PUD-81-22-1M, application of Mozart Development Company and Regis <br /> Homes for a major modification to an approved development plan for a <br /> commercial/office/residential complex to allow for a 520-unit condominium/ <br /> - apartment complex, to be located on an approximately 20.6 acre site located <br /> generally in the area of the northeast corner of the intersection of <br /> Stoneridge Drive and Sto~eridge Mall Road, subject to conditions set forth in <br /> Staff Report 86:538 but~deleting condition No. 24, be introduced. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Wilson, <br /> that Resolution No. 86-579, approval of request for exemption from Growth Man- <br /> agement Program for PUD-81-22-1M, application of Mozart Development Company <br /> and Regis Homes, subject to the conditions recommended in Staff Report 86:538, <br /> be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> - 7 12-16-86 <br /> <br /> <br />
