He stated it is now in order to adopt the ordinance. Mr. Frank Capilla, Chairman of the Citizens Review Committee, stated they concur with the ordinance with the inclusion of the Committee's suggested wording in Section 20.08.050(c). It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wil- son, that Ordinance No. 1284, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, modification to the fire sprinkler ordinance relating to fire extinguishing systems in residential structure, and incorporating the Citizen Committee's wording in Section 20.08.050(c) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, as presented in the Fire Chief's report dated December 11, 1986, be re- introduced. REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER Approval of Schematic Design and Scope of Work Detailed for Phase I of the Operations Service Center on Busch Road Mr. Elliott presented his report (SR 86:526) dated December 16, 1986, regarding this matter. --- It was moved by Council.member Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember But- ler, that Resolution No. 86-583, approving the schematic design, scope of work, and cost estimate ~or the Operations Service Center, exclusive of the Fire Training Tower faC~iity, School District warehouse/maintenance building, and animal shelter facility; and directing staff to negotiate with Ruth and Going for the complete construction documents for the Operations Service Cen- ter, exclusive of those facilities noted above, be adopted.
