117 <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, <br />be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 9-16-86. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1274, approval of PUD-86-13, application of <br /> Castlewood Properties for rezoning from the "A" (Agricultural) to the PUD <br /> (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density Residential District and <br /> development plan approval for a 12 parcel single-family residential <br /> development to be located on an approximately 5.2 acre site, located <br /> generally in the area north of Mission Hills Park. <br /> <br />c. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-447, denying the claim of Deborah Barham in <br /> the sum of $15.00 for towing and tire alignment of her car after she drove <br /> into a cement planter in the parking lot of 234 Main Street on August 1, <br /> 1986; and referring this matter to the City Attorney for further handling. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-448, denying the claims of John M. Elward, <br /> et al, in the sum of $100,000, arising from an accident on July 1, 1986 <br /> when a bolt was allegedly thrown by a city lawnmower across the lawn, <br /> street and into the car Mr. Elward was driving, striking him on the <br /> shoulder and neck; and referring this matter to the City Attorney for fur- <br /> ther handing. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-449, denying the claim of Judith Jensen in <br /> the sum of $100,000, for injuries she received when she tripped and fell <br /> on the stairway at the Valley Volunteer Bureau building on Division Street <br /> on July 29, 1986; and referring this matter to the City Attorney for fur- <br /> ther handling. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-450, denying the claims of Joseph Earl <br /> Chancy and Bobbie Katusich in the sum of $845,500, arising from alleged <br /> actions by the Livermore, Pleasanton and/or Alameda Sheriff's Department <br /> police officers in connection with a search at 5598 Sonoma Drive on June <br /> 18, 1986; and referring this mattering to the City Attorney for further <br /> handling. <br /> <br />g. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-451, approval of the Seventh Addendum to the <br /> Ponderosa Homes Long Term Agreement; and authorizing execution of the Ad- <br /> dendum by the appropriate city officials. <br /> <br />h. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-452, approval of Special Counsel Agreement <br /> with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, regarding Corporation Yard financing; <br /> and authorizing execution of the agreement by the appropriate city <br /> officials. <br /> <br />i. Adoption of Resolution No. 86-453, approval of agreement between the City <br /> and Pleasanton Garbage Service, authorizing expenditure of funds to close <br /> former landfill; and authorizing execution of the agreement by the ap- <br /> propriate city officials. <br /> <br />j.
