It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wil- <br />son, that the adoption of the Resolution of Necessity to acquire the Harris <br />property by Eminent Domain proceeds for property needed for the construction <br />of the Sycamore Water Reservoir, be continued until Councilmember Butler is <br />present. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ' <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br />ABSTAINED:Councilmember Hohr <br /> <br />RZ-87-4, Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend provisions of the <br />Municipal Code, relatin9 to the screenin9 of boats, trailers, and similar <br />vehicles in residential areas <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 87:277) dated July 7, 1987, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br />Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to the <br />application. <br /> <br />Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and sconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Ordinance No. 1322, to be read by title only and waiving further reading <br />thereof, approving RZ-87-4, application of the City of Pleasanton to amend <br />provisions of the Municipal Code, relating to the screening of boats, trail- <br />ers, and similar vehicles in residential areas, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Wilson <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />PUD-87-6, Application of B-W Construction Company and First Interstate Bank <br />for development plan approval to construct a 28-unit residential townhouse <br />complex, to be located on an approximately 2.4 acre site, located at 553 St. <br />John Street. Zonin9 for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High <br />Density Residential District <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br />(Contd. Open from 6-16-87) <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 87:285) dated July 1, 1987, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the continued public hearing open on the application <br />and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jim Rubnitz, 1925 S. Winchester, Campbell, representing B-W Construc- <br />tion Company, stated the application has zoning and general plan approval as <br />well as staff and Planning Commission. He advised that no surrounding home- <br />owners are in opposition to the project. He presented architectural displays <br />of the proposed development.
