143 <br /> Computerized Fee Analysis and Cost Control System during 1987-88 budget re- <br /> view, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Enforcement of City Ordinances by Designated City Personnel <br /> Mr. MacDonald presented his report (SR 87:227) dated May 19, 1987, regard- <br />_ ing this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Bran- <br /> des, that Ordinance No. 1316, to be read by title only and waiving further <br /> reading thereof, amending Section 2.08.080 of the Municipal Code, authorizing <br /> the City Manager to authorize certain City personnel to enforce city ordinan- <br /> ces and related statutes, be introduced. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> Letter from City of Dublin and Amador-Pleasanton Public Schools - Tri-Valley <br /> Community Television Corporation Studio Location <br /> <br /> Request from Tri-Valley Community Television Corporation for Financial Support <br /> Mr. Walker presented his memorandums submitting the two above <br /> communications. <br /> <br /> Ms. Charlotte Severin, representing the Tri-Valley Community Television <br /> Corporation, urged Council to consider the whole budget in a positive way. <br /> Community Television intends to increase new programming, include local news <br /> and more news programs. She advised they need four fully paid staff and some <br /> part-time staff also. She asked that further consideration be given to the <br /> location of the Community Television studio. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wilson, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br /> directing staff to forward the letters from the City of Dublin and Amador- <br /> Pleasanton Public Schools to the Tri-Valley Community Television Corporation, <br /> and request them to review these as well as other possible television studio <br /> alternatives and make a recommendation to the City Council; and instructing <br /> staff to include the Tri-Valley Community Television Corporation request for <br /> financial support for consideration during review of the City's 1987-88 <br /> Operating Budget. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the <br /> Council. <br /> <br /> 16 - 5-19-87 <br /> <br /> <br />
