Mayor Mercer and members of the City Council met at 7:30 p.m., in Execu- <br /> tive Session to discuss Johansen v. City. <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br /> order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- <br /> lows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer were <br /> present. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Swift, <br /> Director of Planning and Community Development, and Mr. Elliott, Director of <br /> Public Works and Utilities, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that an item be added to the Consent Calendar as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> item 4r - Approval of Contract for Rental of Office Space at 205 Main Street. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 12a - Review of Petition for Water Service <br /> in Sycamore Road, be continued to the meeting of January 19, 1988, at the <br /> request of staff. <br /> <br /> Mr. MacDonald advised he would have an item under his reports as a result <br /> of the Executive Session held earlier tonight - Johansen vs. City. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember But- <br /> ler, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended <br /> thereto, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 12-1-87. <br /> <br /> b. By motion, support public education in Pleasanton schools. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1347, approval of PUD-85-15-1D, application of <br /> Currin/Timm Development for development plan approval for the Phase I por- <br /> tion of the Golden Eagle Farms project consisting of 130 units on an ap- <br /> proximately 52 acre site located on the east side of Foothill Road just <br /> north of Castlewood Country Club. <br /> <br /> d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1348, approval of PUD-87-25, application of <br /> Kamp, Kral, Crouch for development plan approval for a four-parcel, single <br /> family residential development to be located on an approximately 1.2 acre <br /> <br /> <br />
