No action was <br />required or taken by Council on the item. <br /> <br />Actions Taken by the Board of Adjustment, Design Review Board, and Planning <br />Commission at their meeting of 2-24-88 <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (IR 88:18) dated March 1, 1988, regarding <br />this matter. No action was required or taken by Council on the item. <br /> <br />Schedule Joint Meeting for Stoneridge Drive Area Specific Plan <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (IR 88:17) dated March 1, 1988, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> After Council discussion, Mayor Mercer scheduled a joint meeting between <br />the City Council and Planning Commission on March 29, 1988, 7:00 p.m., to re- <br />view progress made to date on the Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan and to <br />receive comments prior to commencement of formal public hearings. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated he has become aware of a drug abuse program <br />called DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) that was developed in 1983 and <br />is now being utilized by the School District. He stated he would like to at- <br />tend these meeting as the Council's representative and report back to Council <br />on the status of this program.
