Open from 12-15-87} <br /> Mayor Mercer declared this item continued Open to the meeting of January <br />19, 1988, 8:00 p.m., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers, at the request of the <br />appellant. <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 1349, Approval of PUD-80-15-5D, Application of Tioga <br />Construction Company to rezone an approximately 3.63 acre site to PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development/-Commercial District to accommodate automobile wash, service <br />station, food mart, restaurant and retail uses as permitted uses, and to ap- <br />prove a development plan for an approximately 30,142 sq. ft. mixed use commer- <br />cial complex located at the southeast corner of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico <br />Drive <br />(Intro. 12-15-87, 4-Ayes, 1-No) <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that Ordinance No. 1349 was introduced at the meeting <br />of December 15, 1987, by a vote of 4-Ayes, 1-No, and that it was now in order <br />to adopt the ordinance. <br /> <br /> Mr. Robert Fairman, 3979 Fairlands Drive, stated his property connects to <br />the south side of the proposed project. Representing himself and others in <br />the Pleasanton Meadows area, he spoke in opposition to the project because of <br />the adverse traffic impacts the project would create. He requested Council to <br />reconsider their approval of this project because he did not feel the issue of <br />traffic impacts at Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive as well as adjacent <br />streets had been adequately addressed, and information relative to the bias of <br /> <br /> - 7 1-5-88 <br /> <br /> <br />
